Dr. Aide joined Illinois Eye Care Center in April 1989, where he is now Co-Director. With his relaxed style and unique ability to communicate with his patients, he practices to the highest clinical standards. Dr. Aide practices full scope primary care to ensure a complete visual health examination for your entire family.

Dr. Assell joined Illinois Eye Care Center in April 2009, where he is now Co-Director. He prides himself on treating all of his patients with the highest standard of clinical care. With a focus in contact lenses and pediatrics, Dr. Assell is well equipped to treat all of your family’s needs.

Dr. Ann Bartek joined Illinois Eye Care Center in 2019. Her dedication to patient care is shown by her patience, attention to detail, and ability to explain each individual's eye care. She practices full scope optometry: tending to visual needs, overall eye health wellness, and medical conditions. Dr. Bartek will be seeing patients in all three of our office locations. Dr. Bartek graduated with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2017.
Dr. Payal Thakkar joined Illinois Eye Care Center in 2021. She graduated Cum Laude from Illinois College of Optometry, where she had extensive training in family eye care, contact lens fitting, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
She elected to specialize in primary care and ocular disease by completing a residency at VA NJ Health Care System. After working in two medical optometry practices in Long Island, NY and Seattle, WA, she moved back home to Illinois. She takes great pride in helping people with their visual needs and values dedicating time to educate her patients on their eye health.
Cindi graduated from Ferris State University with a degree Opticianry and has over 30 years of experience in the optical field. As the Director and Buyer for all three IECC locations, Cindi is actively involved in every aspect of the practice - from business development and staff management to the optical department where she participates in frame buying, personal frame styling and custom lenses.
